Lisa says gah flower themed photoshoot

For my lighting final at school this quarter, we were given the prompt to do a nude photoshoot and take it any which way we desired. I'm interested in marketing and got inspired by a brand I adore to do an in-studio flower-themed shoot. I wanted to create something confident, carefree, and effortlessly eye-catching. Here's what I created and how I did it!

Lighting set up: I wanted a soft light to create a serene atmosphere that felt natural and intimate. In the last few months, I learned how to use strobes, a powerful type of light that omits tonnes of power and a punchy flash with it. The main con is that they're unusable for video purposes. Nonetheless, I've slowed down my video work to experiment with strobes and was proud of how I used the Elinchrom strobes for this shoot.

The team: Some of the graphic design students I have a class with asked me what my most challenging final would be, and I admitted that I didn't know who would be down to do my nude shoot. And they both chimed in and said they'd do it. So superior, I laughed, was surprised, and am grateful to be around people that want to help create my vision into reality.

the fit: I went threw a faze in 2021 where all I wore was Lisa says gah, and I purchased not just one but two pairs of Robyn Jean Daisy.

Robyn was Lisa Says gah's very first denim jeans in their collection. A vintage-inspired high-waisted straight-leg pant that I adore. Made from treated deadstock fabric & denim is printed with non-hazardous, non-toxic, eco-friendly, and 100% biodegradable inks. I have a pair of black and blue daisy jeans in slightly different styles. I also have a matching bucket hat that is giving farm-girl.

Lisa says Gah is a great women-owned brand that strives to create a space that is anti-fast fashion and pro-community with a sustainable flair. I adore their message and style. However, their stuff can be priced at points. I like to invest in my wardrobe and support businesses actively trying to impact the world around us positively. Side note: I have worn both pairs of jeans at least 40 times, and they still look brand new in the photos.
