Cha Cha Matcha

I visited California recently! My mom and I took a spontaneous road trip this week. During the Los Angles portion of our trip we spent a day with Aunt Yanira. Of course the night before I was looking up aesthetically pleasing dessert and coffee shops, because that’s how unprepared I was. Then I thought of an influencer who lives in LA @jacy and popped on her instagram to see if I could find anything worthy of visiting, since she is always hitting up adorable shops. Low and behold I found Cha Cha Matcha!💕

Cha Cha Matcha: a artsy matcha shop with six locations in exclusively Los Angeles and New York City. The company was founded in 2016, and is even planning on opening another location on the west coast. Let’s hope Seattle is next!

First off I really loved their marketing and overall aesthetic of the brand. Every part of the Beverly Hills location I went to was picturesque. One of my favorite parts about this shop, other then the how freaking adorable it was, is that they are very eco-friendly. Everything including your 0— cups, straws, and baked goods packaging is compostable. I’m sure as a business buying green products is more expensive. Being green is obviously better for our environment , and goes to show that Cha Cha Matcha is a progressive company. As a consumer I don’t feel guilty about getting a drink in one of their compostable cups, and it makes me want to be a returning customer.

Here is a quick “what we ordered” review: I ordered the purple drink with a shot of matcha on top and per the baristas suggestion had it made with macadamia nut milk. I know how extra can we get, BUT when I tell you this drink was like something I have never tasted I mean it! My drink was light and refreshing. it was not too sweet and I mixed it a bit to blend the matcha that was on top. This was actually the first time my aunt had ever had matcha, and she just got an iced matcha latte. She said that she wanted it to be her new go to drink. My mom got a hot chai matcha latte. I didn’t even know that was a thing you could order. The mixing of chai and matcha was very new to my tastebuds, and I think it would have been better cold… but I am biased when it is 80 degrees outside.. We also all split their vegan cookie, which was huge and pretty good. it had a lot of chocolate and was gooey, which is something I personally enjoy in cookies.

Overall I was into the vibes
