Sweatshirt all year round

As I said before that weather in Seattle is hot and cold so that do you wear? Well, I like to wear sweatshirts &/ or sweaters with shorts. This makes it so if your cold, you are still keeping warm on your top half. If gets hot outside then you won't be supper sweaty and you can just take of your sweater. Do you wear sweatshirts with your shorts?
